Why do we love love when love seems to hate us
I asked that 2 years ago & this is what the debate is

Love itself is better than life itself
So we do all types of things in which inflict self
We put ourselves on the back burner to aid others help
Yet the horrendous reality is that we need to invest in self

We go & do for others, yes the ones we love
Yet we can't be fully alive until we do what me must

We must stop accepting him back when he breaks your heart & cheats
We must stop putting our girls behind our bros & these streets

We must love our skin they way god made it
See you'll pass up that special one next time you get a face lift

We must stop putting the club & a boy in front of our infant
We must begin to realise that without change nothing will be different

We must understand what love is & exactly what it means
For those of you who need help please read Corinthians 1-13

We must begin to appreciate us you & I
Because I could never love another who doesn't reach for the sky
Yet that's my own pride see I love love & this life I'm ready to die
Because if I leave now I know that I set my goals & aimed real high

& artistically this poem here is the kind I wouldn't expect you to get
I just hope when you truly see love, you won't pass up on it

See this poem of love & the question in which I ask
Is extremely irrelevant to our future, present & past

Because love 1st & foremost is always a gift
That's why I give you my hearts in small bits
See what's the value of a 100 dollars if you just receive it?
Will it be invested & valued like 100 that you've truly earned it
Because this love for God, my kids, you, my friends is solely a gift
So what's the importance of love if we don't truly appreciate it.

Well I meant to say over one million & one since I came along

I mean I had to do it we ran our course so of course I had to log on

I mean what else did you expect me to do I'm a man of my word

so to think that me leaving was an idle threat itself was a little absurd

now I'm viewed as the bad guy but see thats what the website is for

So basically you log onto this awesome site

it asks why you need to bounce & this is what I had to write :

Well for starters she doesn't seem to fit me right

I aim for the sky while she just aims for my kite

I try & try again to help her out but as soon as I might

its always some small issue which then evolves into a much larger bite

not talking or calling for days and nights

but subtle mind games text messages seem to fit just right

im also not trying to impede God's light to shine as bright

So as I answer & finish my short essay question

it computes an outcome or in my case a good lesson

The site said : Well DJ if you really gave it your all

& again & again she continues to fall

well the focus is itself not the repetitive wall

its your turn to focus in & go out & fucking ball

God makes all kind of people some short & some tall

& some have no business being together at all

you did what you could now you both need to answer life's call

So as I read these words in amazement

heart racing and mind completely bent

yet I never could think I messed up what heaven sent

But I did I've failed you numerous times

& to go forth & do it again itself is a crime

I know when my time is up & its time for the curtain call

the memories we shared please cherish them all

Because you where the one who made me go against the grain

but I refuse to be the one who will give you future pain

& mean hell to me you where the bomb

Honesty Hour (1am 9.14.10)

As a young man growing up I was taught that when I'm wrong I'm wrong. A real man admits his faults his miscues, his mistakes and a good man should be someone who wishes to better others.

What I'm here to say is not that I'm a real man nor am I a good one, however I do believe that those qualities & aspects of life are some that I'm searching for. I refuse to go through life with people who don't wish to become something great of themselves. No I'm no snob, yet I do believe thin this very moment this very second we should all aim to make the best due & play the best possible cards that we were dealt.

I'm aiming to become something great myself so that itself is the stand alone point at which I judge someone. Also don't misunderstand me I don't judge character I just judge motives, & if life itself can't motivate you then I'm afraid I couldn't even come close.

I am saying is that now is when you have to invest in you & forget the haters, your current situation or anything else that might be setting you back. Let's get it.
