2009 NYE

To me I feel like 2009 was a cool year, no complaints for me. I would give it a solid 8 out 10. Now my new years eve in vegas with my loved ones however..?? i would give that a definite 10 lol. Here are a few random shots.

NFL Playoffs

So as the 2009 football season end is approaching, the best part of all sports known to mankind is upon us. NFL play offs. Man, nothing in the world can even come close to it. The whole atmosphere itself is just indescribable, a whole 16 game season comes down to this.

32 teams are put through hell & only one will prevail & taste super bowl immortality. The situation is this, the teams who have proven to be regular season competitors will make it to the post season whereas the weaker teams sit at home with you & I and have to go back to the drawing board for the next season.

Now the post season is where boys turn into men, rookies to vets & fans into fanatics. You lose a NFL post season game & that's it, no best of seven, or best of five. One & done, the loser gets a 1st class trip back to the house while the victorious get a chance to be forever legendary. Yes the whole team town & state loses when you lose a play off game, its that serious. & yes that's exactly why I LOVE NFL play off games, its something close to that of historical gladiators.

You leave it all out there for 4 quarters of smash mouth football. Nothing in the world of sports can compare & nothing in the world can be so intense. Its a love for the game I have, a undying love which only gets stronger & stronger after every season. I'm ready but the question is are you ready?

Robot Lover

Ok so shout out to miss Brittany walker, my sis through love not blood. Me & sis were talking about one of the many things we talk about from time to time & we came up on the subject of me & what I like in a woman. She asked me this "what do you like in a woman? What would it take to be your girl? What is your idea of a perfect woman? " Wow. My blackberry was stuck to my ear & I was in a blank stare, I never knew what it was exactly that I wanted in a woman nor did I ever think what does it take to be Dj's Girlfriend? So let me write out & explain my best answer to each of those questions. At least this way I can call Brittany back & give her my answers lol

What do I Darrin Elliot, like in a woman? Well besides the possession of a similar DNA pattern of Halle Berry, I like confidence. I mean a woman sure of her self can rule the world, seriously. Also sex appeal is a must she has to have that womanly indescribable. Swagger, she has to have it. Now enough of the generic answers here's what separates the elite from the norm. They have to have the 7 F's which are Faith, Family, Fashion, Film, Football, Fitness & Food. I mean all of which are very dear to my heart & any woman who can hold those same loves could be the one for me. I value a woman who is strong willed & determined that itself is priceless beyond measure. & the secret to it all is a woman who is DRAMA-FREE!!! Lol No. Messy situations, Ex boyfriend issues, Baby daddy issues, family problems etc. I'm a very chill type dude & I would want a chill type woman. Simple as that, the ship runs well when the course is smooth. Always live by that one.

Now what does it take to be my girlfriend? Well for starters its not complicated at all, in actuality its rather quite simple. You just have to be someone who can put up with my shit. I'm not perfect no where near it. How ever if you can have those following traits & STILL put up with my crazy abstract mind then hell your definitely a winner in my book. All aces, but damn I'm sure that's a lot to ask for. I wonder if I can ever be satisfied with a mediocre women? & don't get me wrong there have been & currently are women of quality that I can easily see my self with right now, but am I ready for a girlfriend at this very moment? I stare blankly at that question, so until then I'm going to keep working on making or finding that right one.. & yes I did say making, I'm going to create my robot lover she will be everything I want/need. GOALS

Well hello there Good people of the world. As I write this post I focus on jan 12th 2010. Today is a day we must all enjoy for this moment could be your last. Think about it, how many times have you started off saying "I wish I can go back to.... " You fill in the blank.

I just want each of us to seize the moment. Its like a precious gift in which we are blessed with. SEIZE THIS MOMENT. Its easy, don't wait for next week, nor next month or tomorrow, simply chase your dreams accordingly. As for myself I'm taking my own advice, I know that the goals I set are very high however I do expect 2010 to be a very promising year for myself & all of my loved 1's. May I have the liberty in sharing my own goals with you? If so here they are, in 2010 I Darrin Elliot aspire to achieve the following :

•Finish my 3rd screenplay & write more than 1,500 poems
•Finish Book Proposal
•Become a principle actor in at least 2 commercials
•Acquire Head shots before my Birth day
•Sign a new agent
•Work out regime 3'xs a week
•Pay no Atm withdraw fees
•Start & finish bar tending school
•No soda/Fast Food
•Gain financial literacy
•Travel more

So there you guys have it, just a few of my goals which I have mapped out for myself. Most are easily obtainable while others are a little more difficult to achieve, however my focus is on the current moment. Again I say to you all SEIZE THIS MOMENT. I couldn't stress this enough, just make everyday count & take life one day at a time. I mean look we only have 353 days left of 2010!! May we all go fourth with love & focus. Let's Go!!!
