I really like this one for some odd reason...We reflect on life & past and we move forward. Life itself can never be taken for granted, so we try to force the inevitable. We all will die someday, everyone you ever
met will pass. Let us reflect.
So take flight with your wings & try make a way
Enjoy this 2nd for it could be the first of your last
Gods time is a gift that's why we reflect so hard on the past
Retell stories of how things used to be
Like it could somehow become relevant news to me
Of course it never could nor could ever be such
But why focus on the future so much?
Is it because we feel inadequate as we are in the today
So we plan for the future as we double park the delorean with valet
Or is it because we know that over time great thing can happen
I mean I've never heard stories of the 3 year old captain
Yea he was the youngest ever to control & run the whole ship
But his inexperienced abilities made it sink pretty quick
Now aint that a bitch
See we focus so much on what someone is doing today
But I think only heaven & hell really have a right to say
On how someones doing it & even if they're doing it wrong
See what's the point of life if we don't make it last long
Oh that's right the true factor is getting to heaven avoiding hell
Not to brag about my 745 having that new car smell
See in reality not all is well
When your soul is about to sell
See we focus so much on what you've been up to, & if your on
But life itself isn't a track meet yet more like a marathon
